The ideal place to be for walking, fishing, golf, cycling, etc, Thrumble Cottage is only a short walk away from an 18-hole golf course and is very close to the famous Hareshaw Lynn waterfall and the Pennine Way. Kielder Water, Hadrians Wall and the Northumberland National park are also close by.
Bellingham is a lively country village with a good selection pubs, cafés and craft shops, as well as the Heritage Centre and other amenities.
Thrumble Cottage is very a comfortable, deceptively roomy cottage, and is ideal for holidays for one, or two people sharing.
It comprises one spacious double bedroom (with its own lounge area), kitchen, bathroom and a large lounge. There is also a secure motorbike lock-up garage and gardens to the front and rear.

Features / Details
- Ground floor
- Living room with TV, DVD player, radio and a comfy three-piece suite. There is an wood burning stove for cosy evenings.
- Well-equipped kitchen/diner with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and pull-up kitchen table.
- Luxurious bathroom with a cubicled shower, wash basin, WC and heated towel rail.
- First floor
- The large bedroom has a double bed, built-in wardrobe, lounge area (with a comfortable sofa) and crisp clean bedding. There are lovely views over the gardens.
- Outside
- The enclosed front garden is gravelled and has views & gate down to Bellingham village, the perfect place to sit with your favourite tipple recovering from your busy day exploring all Northumberland has on offer..
- Just across the road you will find Carriages Tea Room & Heritage centre, well worth a visit (on a real train carriage) serving the most delightful cakes, sandwiches & afternoon teas!… a proper treat but you are on holiday! Also available to book are Sunday lunches 12pm- 2pm – absolutely gorgeous but please book ahead on 01434 221151 & tell them where you are stopping!
- The garden to the rear of the cottage is accessed across the lane, a large enclosed grassy area ideal for dogs to frolic whilst you BBQ!

Directions:
From Newcastle
Drive west along the A69 towards Hexham for about 14 miles. Near Corbridge, head north (right) along the A68 for about 12 miles and turn left onto the Redesmouth Road. Continue through Redesmouth village then in Bellingham, after passing Bellingham Middle School on the left, at a tee-junction turn sharp right and the cottage is about 100m on the left.
